Roll-Off Rentals for Bullard's New Builds

12 Miles South of Tyler

Bullard is the fastest-changing town on our map. It went from 1,150 people in 2000 to 2,463 in 2010 and 3,318 by 2020, and the median house there was built in 2006. All that growth means new slabs and new pools. It's a 12-mile run south on US-69, and next-day delivery is the norm, with same-day when we can squeeze it in.

Bullard's Bulky Pickup Has Limits

If you're on city utilities, Republic picks up bulky items once a month. West of FM 2493, that means the 2nd Thursday. East of 2493 and in Windsor Estates, it's the 4th Thursday. Brush has to be tied in bundles under 35 pounds.

You also get one free landfill trip a month, about 3 cubic yards. Good for a couch. A roof is a different animal.

Types of Dumpster Rentals We Offer in Bullard

Right now Bullard is a builder's town, so we start with construction. The rest follow in about the order the phone rings.

New Home Construction Dumpsters

A new house throws off lumber scraps, boxes, siding offcuts, drywall and shingle bundles. Builders usually keep a 30 or 40 yard on the lot from framing to trim. The 40 yard comes with up to 5 tons, and framing lumber is light at about 169 pounds per cubic yard.

We've worked a lot of the newer lots south of town where the driveway isn't poured yet. Cody's rule there is simple: "I'll set it on the gravel pad, never on the fresh slab." Once the can is level with the top rail, text us and we bring the empty.

Roofing Dumpsters After Storms

Shingles are heavy. A roofing square, 100 square feet, of architectural shingles weighs 400 to 430 pounds. That is why we send a 15 or 20 yard for most Bullard roofs and keep the load low.

Tonnage check: a 30-square roof of architectural shingles comes in around 6 tons. Most people expect half that. We would rather talk about it on the phone than have it show up on a bill later. Rails on boards, load kept low.

Additions and Remodels

Bullard homes often get a game room, a bigger primary bath or a covered patio within a few years. A 20 yard with 4-foot walls fits most single-room jobs, and a 30 yard fits an addition that tears into existing walls.

Pool and Concrete Dumpsters

Pool digs and patio tear-outs mean dirt, rock and old concrete. Dirt runs about 929 pounds per cubic yard and concrete about 860. Heavy debris goes in a 15 yard filled part way.

We think heavy debris belongs in a small can, every time. A pool dig in Bullard clay can hit the tonnage in the first few yards, and the truck has a legal weight it can carry down US-69. Half full is fine. Done in one pull.

Move-In Cleanouts

New owners often find the last family's leftovers in the garage or the attic. A 15 or 20 yard clears it in a weekend.

We've found everything from a box of old trophies to a bass boat motor in Bullard garages. Most of it can go. The motor's fuel has to be drained first.

Bullard Dumpster Prices

Bullard dumpster prices match Tyler: $325 for a 15 yard with 2 tons, $345 for a 20 yard with 2 tons, $425 for a 30 yard with 3 tons and $545 for a 40 yard with up to 5 tons. A standard rental is 7 days. Extra tons cost $50 to $70 each.

The May 2025 Tornado and Roof Season

On May 6, 2025, an EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 93 mph tracked almost 5 miles from northwest of Bullard to east of town, according to the National Weather Service. Trees were snapped near North Houston Street west of US-69, and homes north of Lynch Drive lost shingles.

Storms like that start a roof season. Quarter-size hail fell near Teaselville west of Bullard in March 2025 as well. If your insurance adjuster has been out, book the roofing can as soon as the roofer gives a date.

Last spring the calls after that storm came in for weeks. Honestly, the folks who booked the can the same day they booked the roofer had the smoothest jobs. The ones who waited ended up with shingles stacked on the lawn.

A few miles north on FM 2493 we also serve Flint.

Fitting a Roll-Off on a Bullard Lot

Every can we run is 20 feet long and 7 feet wide, so it fits on most two-car driveways. The truck needs more room than the can: about 60 feet in a straight line to back up and tilt the frame, plus clear air above for the lift. Low limbs over the drive and sagging cable lines are the usual problems.

On a build lot, the best spot is close to where the crew works but out of the way of the concrete truck and the lumber drop. Tell us the pour date and we will set the can where it won't block it.

Every time we set a can on a new build, we ask where the drywall delivery will land. It sounds small. Moving a full 40 yard because it blocks the boom truck is not.

In finished neighborhoods we set the can at the front of the driveway so the garage stays open. Boards go under each rail to spread the weight across the slab. That's how we set every roll-off dumpster in Bullard's newer subdivisions.

Bullard Dumpster Questions

Do You Deliver on the Cherokee County Side of Bullard?

Yes. A small part of Bullard is in Cherokee County, and we deliver there at the same prices.

Can a Dumpster Sit on a New Build Lot Before the Driveway Is Poured?

Yes, as long as the ground is firm enough for the truck. After heavy rain we may set it on the gravel pad or wait a day.

Bullard Questions

Dumpster Rental in Bullard FAQs

What size dumpster do I need for a new house in Bullard?

Most builders keep a 40 yard on site. It holds the light, bulky framing scrap and packaging a new house creates, with up to 5 tons included. For the drywall stage, which is heavier, a 30 yard often works better. We swap full cans for empty ones so the lot stays clean.

Can Bullard's monthly bulky pickup take remodel debris?

The city's page lists furniture, appliances without freon and bundled brush, not building debris. Pickup is once a month by side of FM 2493. A remodel, a roof or a new build makes far more than a curb pile, so a roll-off is the usual answer.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Bullard?

Not on private property. Driveways, yards and build lots need no permit. If you want the can on a public street, check with Bullard City Hall first. Most Bullard lots are big enough for a driveway drop with 60 feet of straight room.

How much does a roofing dumpster cost in Bullard?

Most Bullard roofs use a 15 yard from $325 or a 20 yard from $345, each with 2 tons included. A big roof with heavy architectural shingles may top 4 tons, and extra weight is $50 to $70 per ton. We go over the numbers before delivery.
